Created in 2017, this solo explores a vicarious journey through loss and the deep connection and relationship between a mother and her child.

Heartline

The work was inspired by patterns, circular motifs and movements that evoke a feeling of a communal ritual, an exploration of our lineage and connection to those who came before us, echoing the quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson, "Every man is a quotation from all his ancestors." 

Heartbeat Amplified

The dance work is shot completely underwater to create a feeling of both serenity but also a sense of drowning and inability to come up for air. The concept for the work evolved during the pandemic when the overwhelming sense of anxiety begged for a change of place and a peaceful surrounding, like water, when the world around becomes muffled and the beating of the heart is amplified.
