During a quick trip to NYC I was very fortunate to spend an hour with a very talented photographer Albert Ayzenberg and shoot in the beautiful Central Park, which is starting to show signs of embracing the fall weather. On a very cloudy Sunday morning, Albert was expertly finding simple, yet surprisingly well lit with natural light, locations which provided perfect setting for the images. Albert kept emphasizing that he enjoys subtlety in his photography, and I loved hearing that. So often as a dancer I find myself striving to capture something unusual, extraordinary, almost acrobatic and yet forgetting that sometimes the most simple gesture can and will speak volumes. Thank you Albert for the reminder of how captivating simplicity can be.
Here is one of the photographs from the Central Park series. Enjoy!
